Namibia, lying on the west coast of Africa,  boasts remarkable natural attractions such as the Namib Desert, the Fish River Canyon, Etosha National Park, The Skeleton Coast and the Kalahari Desert. Conde Nast Traveller, one of the world’s premier travel magazines, recently listed the Namib Desert as the tenth most beautiful place in the world. The Namib Desert has been around for about 43 million years and is a large expanse of moving gravel plains and dunes of all shapes and sizes spanning the 2,000 km coastlines of Namibia and its neighbours.

A wonderfully restful way to visit Namibia is by train. We can offer you two railway journeys through this amazing country, aboard the SHONGOLOLO EXPRESS, nowoperated by ROVOS RAIL: Westbound from Pretoria to Walvis Bay or Eastbound from Walvis Bay to Pretoria.
